Emily was introduced to beautiful works of art at a very young age, surrounded by artists and her family. She didn’t realize her passion of designing jewelry could become a reality until she began the MBA program at Rice University. Entering the entrepreneurship program, the Armenta company and philosophy of doing business was created. Each piece of Armenta jewelry is handcrafted using 18k gold, sterling silver, diamonds, and semi-precious stones in the United States, but not by just any hand. At Armenta, we strongly believe in the idea that from struggle, one can discover beauty and spirit that easiness and frivolity alone cannot create. We developed a school for women that come from disadvantaged circumstances, to educate and empower future generations of artisans. Our mission to be socially responsible extends further than the walls of our company. We partner with vendors across the globe that share our dedication to empower and educate.
